Attractive Antique Cherub Designed Spinning Fireside Chair

An attractive spinning chair. We date this chair to the early 20th century.

The chair sits on four well turned splayed legs.

The chair has a very ornate design featuring various cherubs within a foliate design. The seat pad shows the cherubs playing a large harp.

The backrest frame is shapely and features a decorative cut out heart.

The chair has an overall height of 38″ (97cm), an overall width of 13.5″ (34cm) and an overall depth of 17″ (43cm).

The chair remains in very good usable condition with only very minor surface marks commensurate with age and usage, including some light indentations and wear to some of the edges. There is a small amount of play to the backrest.

This remains a very stylish and elegant chair. It will continue to provide rest and relaxation for many years to come.
