Attractive Retro Matching Pair of Tall Abbess Cactus Coat Hat Stands

A lovely pair of Abbess coat stands. We date these stands to the mid 20th century.

The stands sit on a splayed cross base.

The main column tapers up and holds eight hooks, two on each side.

The coat stands have a height of 70″ (178cm), and a base diameter of 20″ (51cm).

This lovely pair of coat stands remain in a good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There are a few minor indentations and marks to the stand from past use and one of the stands has a slight ‘lean’ to it.

This remains a very stylish and elegant pair of stands which will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
