A lovely Victorian rustic mahogany bidet. We date this bidet to the late 19th century.
The bidet sits on four slender turned legs.
The lid of the bidet is fitted with two handles, when the top is lifted off, it exposes the ceramic wash basin.
The bidet has an overall height of 23″ (58cm), a top surface height of 18″ (46cm), a width of 23.5″ (60cm) and a depth of 15.5″ (40cm).
This attractive Victorian mahogany bidet remains in a good solid condition with only minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There are a few small indentations and light scratches to the finish from past use and the top surface has an old ring mark. There is an old repair to the outside edge of the lid.
This remains a very stylish & elegant Victorian mahogany bidet. It could serve well as either a filing cabinet or as a side cabinet. It will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.
