Attractive Antique Style Carved Mahogany Red Upholstered Sofa Settee Couch

An attractive antique settee. We date this settee to the late 20th century.

The settee sits on four ornately turned and reeded legs.

The seat base, back and arm rests that have been well padded give a comforable seat. The sofa is upholstered in a red heavy woven patterned material studded around the edges. The sofa come with a matching bolster cushion.

The mahogany frame has lovely carved designs with a raised back in the centre of the sofa.

The sofa has an overall height of 37″ (94cm), with an overall width of 92″ (234cm) and an overall depth of 28″ (71cm). It has a backrest height at highest of 20″ (51cm), a seat height of 18″ (46cm), a seat width of 69″ (175cm) and a seat depth of 22.5″ (57cm).

This attractive antique mahogany sofa remains in a good solid condition with only minor surface marks commensurate with age and usage, including some very light indentations on the frame and some minor marks to the material from past use. There has been a repair done near the front of the material where there had been a very small hole at some time in the past.

This remains a very stylish and elegant antique mahogany settee. It is very comfortable and supportive to sit on and will continue to provide rest and relaxation for many years to come.
