Attractive Small Antique Victorian Rustic Pine Writing Desk Washstand

A lovely small antique Victorian desk. We date this desk to the late 19th century.

The desk comprises of a main writing surface with a fitted gallery shelf to the rear. There is a small drawer to the front.

The table sits on four, downward tapered, square section legs.

The main drawer is fitted with a pine bun handle.

The desk has an overall height of 37.5″ (95cm), a main table height of 28″ (71cm), a width of 26.5″ (67cm) and a depth of 18.5″ (47cm).

This lovely vintage pine desk remains in a good solid condition with surface marks commensurate with age and usage. There are a few indentations, ring marks and scratches to the finish. The top shelf has an old repair. The inside of the drawer has old ink stains and there are scratches to the drawer top.

This remains a useful antique Victorian pine desk. It will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
