Attractive Pair Of Vintage Ornate Carved Oak Bedroom Side Chairs

An attractive pair of vintage oak chairs. We date these chairs to the first half of the 20th century.

The chairs sit on cabriole legs at the front and slightly backward curved oblong section legs at the rear.

The back support of the chair is very ornate with decorative carved rails.

The seat base is well padded and is upholstered in a floral cream heavy woven velour type fabric.

The chairs have a height of 36.5″ (93cm), an overall width of 18″ (46cm) with an overall depth of 18″ (46cm). It has a backrest height of 19″ (48cm), a seat height of 18″ (46cm), a seat width of 18″ (46cm) and a seat depth of 15″ (38cm).

This attractive pair of chairs remain in a good solid condition. The frames have a few small marks and indentations from past use.

This remains a very stylish and elegant pair of chairs which are very comfortable and supportive to sit on. They will continue to provide rest and relaxation for many years to come.

Attractive Antique Victorian Upholstered Carved Rosewood Stool

A lovely antique rosewood stool. We date this stool to the second half of the 19th century.

The stool sits on four well carved cabriole legs.

It has been upholstered in a cream floral patterned material.

The stool has a height of 16″ (41cm) with a width of 23″ (59cm) and a depth of 19″ (48cm).

This stool remains in a good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There is a small amount of wear to the material from past use where it has frayed slightly and one of the legs has an old repair at the foot.

This remains a very stylish and elegant stool. It will continue to provide good service for many years to come.

Attractive Antique Victorian Upholstered Mahogany Fireside Nursing Chair

An attractive Victorian mahogany nursing chair. We date this chair to the late 19th century.

The chair sits on two short turned legs at the front and two short backward curved square section legs at the rear, all above their original ceramic castors.

The seat base has been well padded and sprung.

The top of the backrest has a very ornate carved design.

The chair has an overall height of 43.5″ (111cm), an overall width of 20″ (51cm), an overall depth of 22″ (56cm), a backrest height of 28″ (71cm), a seat height of 15″ (38cm) and a seat depth of 19″ (49cm).

The chair is upholstered in a needlepoint decorated torquoise material (the pictures are showing it to be more blue than it actually is). The material has a fair bit of wear with some tears across the front edges. An amount of the needlework is missing, primarily to the front edge of the seat pad.

This remains a very stylish and elegant Victorian chair. It is very comfortable and supportive to sit on and will continue to provide rest and relaxation for many years to come.

Attractive Antique Cherub Designed Spinning Fireside Chair

An attractive spinning chair. We date this chair to the early 20th century.

The chair sits on four well turned splayed legs.

The chair has a very ornate design featuring various cherubs within a foliate design. The seat pad shows the cherubs playing a large harp.

The backrest frame is shapely and features a decorative cut out heart.

The chair has an overall height of 38″ (97cm), an overall width of 13.5″ (34cm) and an overall depth of 17″ (43cm).

The chair remains in very good usable condition with only very minor surface marks commensurate with age and usage, including some light indentations and wear to some of the edges. There is a small amount of play to the backrest.

This remains a very stylish and elegant chair. It will continue to provide rest and relaxation for many years to come.
