An attractive vintage Italian style settee. We date this settee to the second half of the 20th century.

The settee sits on four shapely carved cabriole legs at the front and two oblong section legs at the rear.

The settee features a heavily carved & pierced wood frame. The two outer front legs continue up and have been heavily over stuffed to form the classic scroll arm design.

The settee has been upholstered in an attractive red velour. It is supplied with three loose seat pads and the backrest has button detail.

The settee has an overall height of 39″ (99cm), an overall width of 76″ (193cm), an overall depth of 32″ (81cm), a seat height of 17.5″ (45cm), a seat width of 59″ (150cm), a seat depth of 23″ (59cm) and a backrest height of 24″ (61cm).

This attractive vintage settee remains in good condition with only minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There are some minor marks to the material, primarily to the seat cushions and the arm rests. There is a small repair to the top of the frame on the right hand side.

This remains a very stylish and elegant vintage Italian style settee. It is both comfortable and supportive to sit on. It will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.
