A lovely Thonet coat stand. We date this coat stand to the first half of the 20th century.

There is a label for ‘Thonet’ to the underside of the stand.

The coat stand comes in two sections for transport and has eight bentwood hooks around the top.

The coat stand has a height of 79.5" (202cm) and a base width and depth of 21.5" (55cm).

This coat stand remains in a good solid condition with only minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There is an amount of wear to the finish, primarily to the exposed edges. There is an old repair to the bentwood frame above the legs and there are a number of worm holes around the base, these have been treated twice to make sure.

This remains a very stylish coat stand which will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
