Attractive Antique Black Painted Metal Chest Storage Shipping Trunk Toy Box

A lovely antique black painted metal shipping trunk. We date this trunk to the early 20th century.

The trunk comprises a large rear hinged lidded box.

It has been black painted and has the name ‘I.G.C. Cruickshank’ painted on it.

The trunk has a height of 11.5″ (29cm), a width of 44″ (112cm) and a depth of 15″ (38cm).

This lovely trunk remains in a solid condition with only minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There is an amount of wear to the painted edges and inside the trunk from past use.

This remains a very stylish and functional trunk which would function well as a toy storage box, coffee table or a linen chest etc. It will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
