Attractive Vintage Large Painted Office Filing Cabinet

A lovely painted filing cabinet. We date this cabinet to the first half of the 20th century.

The cabinet has four drawers and has been painted at some point in its life. The paint is showing a bit of wear now, primarily around the base. It may benefit from being painted at some point in the future.

The drawers are fitted with later added plastic bow front handles.

The cabinet has an overall height of 53″ (135cm), a width of 16.5″ (42cm) and a depth of 28″ (72cm).

Internally the drawers have a width of 12” (30cm) wide.

This attractive cabinet remains in a good solid condition with surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There are some marks to the insides of the cabinet and there is a bit of wear to the wood at the base of the rear panel.

This remains a very useful cabinet. It will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.
