Attractive Vintage Mahogany Glazed Door Bureau Bookcase Cabinet Cupboard Desk

A lovely vintage mahogany bureau bookcase. We date this bureau bookcase to mid 20th century.

The bureau bookcase comes as a single section.

The bureau sits on eight short Queen Anne style cabriole legs with ball and claw feet.

The bureau comprises of a central drop flap bureau over a drawer, flanked either side by a lower level glazed door bookcase.

The interior of the bureau section is fitted with numerous pigeon holes. The drop flap and glazed bookcase doors are fitted with working locks (key supplied).

The doors and drawer are fitted with attractive drop handles.

The two outer doors are glazed with glass panes held in wood glazing strips producing a pleasing geometric pattern. The interiors are fitted with three height adjustable wood shelves.

The bureau bookcase has an overall height of 46″ (117cm), a width of 56″ (142cm), and a depth of 13.5″ (34cm).

This lovely vintage mahogany bureau bookcase remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There are a few minor indentations and marks to the top surface and to some of the edges.

This remains a very stylish and elegant large vintage mahogany bureau bookcase which will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
